I’ve been working on my Ram 1500 EV and recently installed a leveling kit, 3" in the front and 2.5" in the back. Now, I’m thinking about upgrading my tires from the stock 32” to 35” because, well, who doesn’t love the look of bigger tires?

My question is, will this leveling kit provide enough clearance for the 35” tires, or am I going to run into rubbing issues? If you’ve done something similar, did you end up needing spacers to make it work, or was the leveling kit alone enough?

I’m trying to avoid unnecessary headaches. any advice or tips would be awesome. If you’ve done a similar setup, I’d also love to hear about your experience, what worked, what didn’t, and any surprises I should be prepared for.

In my opinion, it should work. But yes, you might get some rubbing on tight turns or off-road. I would test-fit the tires first and see how it goes.

From my experience, it really depends on the tire brand and tread pattern. Some 35” tires are bulkier than others, so even with a leveling kit, you could see minor rubbing on the front when turning. Spacers can help, but they might push the tires out past the fenders, so you’d need flares to stay street-legal. If you want to be 100% sure, ask your tire shop to test-mount one tire before committing.

Love the bigger tire idea, nothing like the "bigger is better" mentality! With your 3" front and 2.5" rear lift, you should have decent clearance, but there's always a chance of rubbing. Spacers might help, but keep an eye out for any surprises like handling changes or extra wear on suspension components..

Ideally yes, but I suggest you test it first. Not sure if your dealer has that service but you can test if they have 35” Spacers will help too like what everyone else is saying.
