Hey everyone

I’ve been following the news around Stellantis, and if they end up merging, selling, or spinning off Chrysler, Dodge, and Ram to a Chinese company, I’m out. I would sell my truck and never look back

I’m curious what others think about this potential move. Would a change like this affect your loyalty to these brands, or are you just in it for the vehicle itself? Would love to hear your thoughts

I get the concern. Dodge, Ram, and Chrysler have deep American roots, and seeing them go under foreign ownership would be a tough pill to swallow for a lot of people. That said, the auto industry is global now, plenty of ‘American’ cars are already built with foreign parts or assembled overseas. If the quality and performance stay the same (or improve), I don’t know if it would be a deal-breaker for me. But if it meant cutting corners or losing that Dodge/Ram identity, yeah, I’d have a hard time sticking around.
