I'm at my wits' end! I'm experiencing an extremely annoying problem with the air conditioning in my RAM 1500 truck. The fan abruptly starts blowing at full speed and I am unable to regulate it, even if the system is operating well. Neither the temperature nor the direction of the airflow can be changed by myself. A burned wire was replaced by the dealership, but the issue persists. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I would be very grateful for any recommendations.

Ah, looks like you’re probably dealing with a wonky blower motor or control module. Since the dealership already swapped out a burned wire, it's possible there's a deeper electrical issue or maybe a busted blower resistor or control module.

If the dealership already replaced a wire and it’s still acting up, they might have missed something. Have you tried asking for a deeper diagnostic? Sometimes these issues stem from the climate control module or even a sensor malfunction that doesn’t immediately show up on basic checks. I’d also document everything and push the dealer to escalate the case to RAM’s technical team, they might have more resources or updates that the local guys don’t know about. Don’t let them brush you off!
