Alright so Dodge is rolling out two electrified Ram 1500 models, and I’m curious about which one makes the most sense for real-world use.
Ram 1500 REV – Fully electric, great for daily driving and short trips, but what about towing? Can it hold up for long hauls without constant recharging?
Ram 1500 Ramcharger REx – Gas-powered generator plus electric power, which sounds more practical if you need a truck for long-distance travel. But at that point, is it really an EV, or just a fancy hybrid?
I get the appeal of going full EV, but in the truck world, I feel like range and practicality are still king. Between these two, I’m leaning toward the Ramcharger REx, but I’d love to hear what others think. Are you going for REV’s full-EV experience or the Ramcharger’s hybrid-like flexibility?
