If the Ram costs less than $80,000, you may be eligible for a tax break. It's difficult to say whether the larger battery will qualify. To take advantage of the tax break, you may need to carefully select the smaller battery.
I am just starting to look at a Ram that would be good for general use, and able to tow my little camping trailer. I'm wanting to do more camping and have heard good things about the Ram1500EV and Ramcharger. I live in the SE so I could go places that are a little bit off the paved road...
Since I'm towing a small camping trailer during the camping months, I'd probably consider the REV over a pure EV. But my mind could be changed after I hear more about the towing abilities of the pure EV.
The thought of a big Ram truck being an EV is rather stunning. I am interested in seeing the EV specification as to range per charge and those statistics.
I cannot tell which is the ICE and which is the EV. I do prefer the blue one due to blue being my favorite color.
And after looking at the blue one more closely, I think it is probably the Ram EV version.
One of the big selling points on trucks is their towing, so producing an EV that competes with standard trucks is quite the feat in my eyes. I expect there will be issues, but I’m kind of wondering if the EVs will be used in place of trucks, or bought by people who maybe don't need to tow all...
