Annual EV fee??

I recently renewed my 4Runner's registration on the Texas gov website and saw a message stating that fully electric vehicles weighing 10,000 pounds or less are subject to a $200 annual EV fee. What are your thoughts on this?

Call the Texas DMV for more info. They should have a list of eligible vehicles in your area.
