I've been reading about Jeep's electrification plans and it seems like the upcoming Wagoneer 4xe will be borrowing the powertrain from the Ramcharger! I'm pretty excited about this as it's a great way to get a powerful and capable plug-in hybrid SUV.

Does anyone have more details on the Wagoneer 4xe's specs or when we can expect it to be released?

I’m pretty sure this will work and be a breeze since it’s all based on the Ram chassis. But man, I’m not even close to ready for that price tag!

Yeah, I’ve been keeping an eye on the Wagoneer 4xe too. Definitely pumped for this! If they’re really going to use the Ramcharger’s powertrain, we’re in for a beast of an SUV. this would be a big and powerful SUV! A plug-in hybrid with that kind of capability! I heard it might have a similar setup to the Wrangler 4xe, but with more power and range. Anyone else hearing similar things? Where can we see ideas and info about this?

When’s this thing coming out? I’ve been digging into Jeep's electrification plans, but info on the release date for the Wagoneer 4xe seems kind of oddly scarce. Or am I searching wrong? Am I wrong? I’m wondering when we’ll actually see it hit the market, or on the roads(maybe? kinda hoping). If they’re using the Ramcharger’s powertrain, I imagine it won’t be too long before we get some official details. Especially since Ramchargers' area already on the streets. Anyone have a more solid timeline?"

Great powertrain, but I hope they nail the balance. Borrowing the Ramcharger powertrain makes sense for the Wagoneer 4xe—it’s a solid hybrid system. But I’m curious how Jeep will balance the electric range with the towing and off-road capabilities that the Wagoneer is known for. Sometimes with plug-in hybrids, you lose a bit of that raw power when you’re relying on the electric motor alone. Still, if they pull it off, this could be a game changer. But we gotta check how they're gonna promote and manufacture this.

Here’s what I’ve found so far! From what I’ve read, the Wagoneer 4xe is expected to share the same 2.0L turbocharged I-4 engine with an electric motor, similar to the Wrangler 4xe but with more power and range, possibly around 375 horsepower and over 470 lb-ft of torque. No hard release date yet, but rumors point to sometime in 2025. It’s exciting to see Jeep and Ram ramping up the plug-in hybrid game—definitely looking forward to more details as they come out!
