So Ram says the 1500 REV can go 350 or 500 miles, depending on the battery. Is it true? The normal 168-kWh battery can go 350 miles, but the bigger 229-kWh battery can go depending on the battery. The normal 168-kWh battery can go 350 miles, but the bigger 229-kWh battery can go 500 miles. Would you guys choose the bigger one???

If the price gap between the 229 kWh and 168 kWh options isn't that big, why compromise on capacity? It's all about getting the most bang for your buck.

I'd go for the larger battery, as it gives me more miles and less stress about charging. Besides, the bigger battery doesn't compromise on towing capacity, up to 12,000 lbs.

Honestly, 350 miles on the normal 168-kWh battery is already solid for a truck, especially if you’re using it for daily driving and light hauling. 🤔But if you’re planning to take the truck on longer trips or do some serious towing, that 500-mile range could make a big difference. It really comes down to how you use the truck.

If you’re sticking close to home, the standard range should be more than enough. For road trips or work that takes you far, the bigger battery is probably worth it! 💪

For me, it’s a no-brainer. 😅 I’d go for the 500-mile range if the budget allows. Extra battery would be reassuring even for a daily driver. With a truck like this, I’d want to maximize the range, especially for those long road trips or hauling trailers. Plus, having a bigger battery could come in handy if you live in an area with fewer charging stations.

Sure, the 350-mile range is decent, but having the extra cushion of 500 miles would give me more peace of mind, especially for longer drives. ✌

The 350 miles is pretty respectable, especially for a truck that size. But do we know how accurate these estimates are in real-world driving? like 350miles with the AC on? with a phone charging? how about while the heater is on during winter? 🤷‍♂️ It makes me wonder if factors like towing, weather, or heavy loads would eat into that range significantly. The 500-mile battery sounds impressive, but I’d want to see some real-world tests before I decide. Has anyone seen how either battery performs under tough conditions? 🤔

Personally, I’d probably stick with the 168-kWh battery at 350 miles. 🤔 It’s a pretty solid range for most everyday uses, and going for the bigger battery might not be worth the extra cost unless you’re really doing long hauls regularly. I don't have that much to haul, and my work isn't labor intensive. Plus, the bigger battery will take longer to charge, and I’m guessing it adds some weight to the truck too.

For local driving, commuting, and even some mid-range trips, the normal battery seems like a better balance. It won't do more for me, i guess. 😅
