I heard Stellantis is dropping 406 mil into Michigan plants to build EVs and hybrids, including the electric Ram 1500 REV over at Sterling Heights. They’re all about this "Dare Forward 2030" thing, but is this just them playing catch-up? I mean, they're retooling for both gas and electric, which kinda feels like they're not fully committing. Warren’s getting electric Wagoneers too, and Dundee’s making battery trays. Seems like they're hedging their bets, which, fine, business is business, but are they really committed to the electric future or just covering all their bases?

What do you guys think? Is this a solid move, or are they gonna fall behind the other EV makers?

Stellantis dropping $406 million on Michigan factories for EVs and hybrids is a good sign, but I get why it feels like they're playing it safe. Spending money on both gas and electric cars seems like they're trying to keep their old customers happy while they try to catch up in the EV game. It's a smart move, but it doesn't scream 'all-in on electric.

Yeah, I get the strategy, but it feels like they’re not really going all-in. If ‘’Dare Forward 2030’’ is the real deal, they need to go full throttle on EVs, not just play it safe with hybrids. Can they even keep up if they keep splitting their focus like this?
