I'm trying to change a burnt-out bulb in my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie's taillight, but it's impossible! The thing is completely sealed up. Has anyone successfully replaced a bulb in one of these? I'm starting to think I'm going to have to replace the whole assembly.

I'm pretty sure you can't replace it yourself; it probably has its own circuit board, which is difficult to access, so I'd recommend taking it to your dealer for replacement.

Not for those OEM LED taillights, but if you're rocking halogens, then you're good to go for a swap!

My buddy had the same issue with his 2019 Laramie, and it turned out his was the LED version, so, unfortunately, the whole taillight had to be replaced. If yours is halogen, though, you can pop the housing out and swap the bulb easily. Maybe double-check if you’ve got the LED setup? If you do, some aftermarket replacements are actually pretty nice and less pricey than OEM.
