For those considering the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger for farm work, Ram has announced that the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger can tow up to 14,000 lbs and carry a payload of up to 2,625 lbs.

It's only a fantasy right now. I'd like to see actual payload data and real-world feedback. If the performance is impressive, I expect it to be extremely expensive and difficult to obtain for the first year or two, given dealer markups and so on. For the time being, I'll just wait and see.

The Ramcharger sounds like the truck I've been waiting for. I like the idea of primarily driving electric, but still having the range for off-highway trips, especially when towing. I expect the price to be out of reach, though. I hope they offer this powertrain in the rumored midsize truck.
