New Ramcharger REx Engine gas vs diesel

Hey the Ramcharger REx is finally here and while I'm stoked about a hybrid truck with towing power, the Pentastar engine choice leaves me scratching my head. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid engine but a small diesel seems way more efficient for a generator. Maybe if this REx takes off, Ram will consider a new engine down the line? I think you forgot to post the video lol. Anyways, if you're running with a small engine, you’d be at redline the entire time which is bad. So having a "smaller diesel" engine can be stressful. Compared to abigger engine, you won't be at full throttle all the time, which in result, is much more efficient.

Anyone else worried about these giant, powerful trucks on the road? Feels like they're getting heavier and heavier every year. Do you really need all that power? And what about crashes? My old Dakota is a featherweight compared to these new beasts - makes me nervous in my classic car! Maybe we'll all need trucker licenses next because of this supersized truck trend?

Supersized trucks serve their purpose but I understand why one would worry about how big these things get. Safety features on these are also loaded so it depends on the driving style of the driver because accidents can occur anytime. Its also a good idea to consider trucker licenses but might be too much of a hassle.
