Need Help with Soft Tonneau Cover Latch Replacement

Hi everyone, I’m in the process of replacing the latches on my soft tonneau cover and could use some advice. I’ve got part number 68161086AA, which seems to be designed for the driver’s side. However, it doesn’t appear to work for the passenger side.

Am I missing something here? Does anyone know if there’s a different part number for the right-side latch? Or is there a trick to getting the same part to work for both sides? Appreciate any guidance from those who’ve dealt with this before.

I ran into an issue when replacing the latches on my truck’s soft tonneau cover. I found out that the parts for the driver’s side and passenger side are often different, even if they look similar. For the right side, I had to order a different part number. You can check with your dealer or look up the part specifics for both sides to make sure you’re getting the right one.
