I think the 2025 Ram 1500 REV’s towing capacity of 14,000 pounds is really impressive, especially for an all-electric pickup. Honestly, that’s all I need to know
Do I really need that extra range? Not really. But would it be awesome? For sure! I know I don’t need 500 miles of range for daily driving since I only travel about 30 miles a day. But being able to drive to family, just a few hours away, on a single charge is definitely important.
I’m not a fan of extended warranties either, but it can be a good idea if you plan on keeping the truck for a while, especially if you’re concerned about costly repairs down the road. It really depends on your usage and whether you’re comfortable with the risk of unexpected expenses.
Good move with the extended warranty! I haven't gone through it personally, but I’ve heard that the process usually goes pretty smoothly. Some people mention long wait times for parts, though.
The 2023 Ram does come with a factory amp and sub in some trims, but double-check your model. For wire colors, they can vary, so a wiring diagram for your specific trim is your best bet, don't want to get your wires crossed😅
Stellantis announced Wednesday that it will delay the all-electric Ram pickup until 2026 due to slower-than-expected EV adoption and challenges in the electric truck market. Instead, the company will prioritize the Ramcharger, an electric range-extended model with a gas engine, due to strong...
That’s a red flag for sure, my bro’s been through that! A coolant smell isn’t something to ignore it could be a small leak, hose issue, or even a loose cap. Hopefully it’s just a minor fix but better safe than sorry! Check the coolant level and look for any leaks. My brother actually replaced a...
Stock might be the safe bet, but if you’re after some aftermarket action, maybe steer clear of anything that sounds like a drum solo! Look for solid rotors and quieter pads something that'll keep your RAM stopping smoothly without turning your ride into a concert. Hopefully you can find...
That’s a great idea, keeping tabs on the common issues could save us all some time and frustration! I haven’t seen a master list, but having one would definitely be useful. Maybe we can crowdsource a "Ram 2025 Fix-it List" and compare notes as things get resolved! Just a thought
I may have one of the first Ramcharger reservations. I currently own an F-150 and Tesla Model Y, with a large solar setup and geothermal HVAC at home, so I'm somewhat familiar with EVs and solar and a bit of an idiot.
I’ll use the Ramcharger for towing my RV, around town when the Tesla’s...
I'm good with the full REV. I don't really need the extra range or towing capacity for what I use it for and I’m not keen on sacrificing the trunk space. That said I’d love to see some of the design elements from the concept truck make it to the production model. Maybe I’ll wait for the 2nd-gen...
If you have a smartphone, you can bypass Uconnect’s native GPS entirely by using either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Both allow you to use Google Maps or Apple Maps through your truck’s infortainment system, which wouldn’t require the Uconnect Guardian service.
It was like that, and you still decided to buy it? I totally understand the excitement of getting a new truck, but it’s always a good idea to carefully review everything before finalizing the deal
